Jindal TMT 500HD describes high ductility rebars which observe the efficiency of earthquake shocks and ensures the best resistance against seismic shocks.

-The Yield Strength value as per IS:1786-2008 for Fe 500 is 500 N/mm2 and Fe 500HD is 500 N/mm2.
-The Tensile Strength value for Fe 500 is 8% more than the actual YS but not less than 545 N/mm2 and for Fe 500HD is 0% more than the actual
YS but not less than 565.
-Elongation value for Fe 500 is 12% and Fe 500D is 16%.
-Uniform Elongation factor for both Fe 500 & Fe 500HD is same i.e 0.5% minimum value.
-For Fe 500, the rebend test is Up To 10 Mm-5D Over 10 Mm7D and for Fe 500HD is up To 10mm-4 Over 10 Mm-6D.
